On Saturday, October 30, the same day Richard “Mick” Bray of Modesto declared in a letter that “…when you total up hate speech, the left rules,” I received an illiterate, incoherent, and moderately threatening diatribe from one Bill Fritch of Virden. That’s what I call perfect timing.
Had he self-censored the expletives contained within I doubt the State Journal-Register would have published it. Instead, he mailed it to me directly, misspelling the name of my street. Luckily, it was delivered anyway.
